Filler Injections

Fillers are products which are implanted into different layers of the skin to plump it out and get rid of wrinkles or improve contours.

Wrinkles can occur due to the loss of a sugar called hyaluronic acid from your skin, this occurs as a part of natural skin aging. Restylane® and Juvéderm® ULTRA contain hyaluronic acid; when injected into the skin they replace the depleted hyaluronic acid, and plump the skin out, thus reducing the appearance of wrinkles.Neither of these fillers need allergy testing and are safe and reliable products derived from non animal, non allergenic sources.

Both products come pre-combined with a local anaesthetic that dramatically reduces the pain associated with the injection. The wrinkles will appear reduced for at least 6 – 12 months following the injection, after that period you might need top-up injections to maintain the effect.
